"The Ballad of el Efè" - CD Release Date Jan 4 '05. Falik rocks, rolls, and thunders all through these tracks with plenty of attitude!
I'm playing a lot more bass guitar and using more drum loops, but I think you'll notice a slight rise in
songwriting and production values. This CD covers lots of genres - it's like listening to your favorite
radio station.

May Day (A Hope for Peace)
(HiFi |
)
For the opening track I wanted to remind everyone that even as we are
striving in conflict there is always a hope for peace -
- Dance of the Aisles w/Jeremiah Soto. JSo and I
just sat down and recorded the basic tracks in one take. -
- Llama Mia : ME rock pop, this is a very fun song.
- Le Dolce Llama : means "The Good Llama". Just an excuse for me play some funky bass in 5/4.
- Rockibaba : A "Beck"-ish type tune.
- My God the Stars : This song reminds me of warm summer nights staring up at the sky.
- Kiss of the Spider Llama : You and a close intimate friend, watching a scary movie in the dark.
- The Birthday Song (Victor Stone Remix) : I actually wrote this on my birthday. Remixed by Victor Stone.
I call it "agro-chill."
- Complique : w/Jeremiah Soto. A little ditty in 7/8.
- To a Blind Camel : w/Jeremiah Soto. JSo helped out with the frame drum, drum samples, and arrangement.
This song is an ode to anyone has the ability to unflinching take on the most enormous of tasks and keep plodding through to their destination, knowing they'll never know what there final destination will even look like.
- The Ballad of el Efè : If you can sit still through this then someone better take your pulse. This is
definitely the hardest rocking bouzouki song you will ever hear.
